Supra put KYC in front of a 500,000+ user ecosystem in six weeks from signature.

Supra

In short: Supra is a Layer-1 blockchain and oracle network whose services reach applications on more than 90 chains. It had no identity verification in place when it chose Zyphe to run KYC for its existing and new users. The contract was signed on 10 July 2025 and verification went live on 21 August 2025, when Supra's user base was over 500,000. Supra chose Zyphe because user identity data is not held in a central database, which matched how its own ecosystem is built.

What was Supra doing before?

Supra was not running identity verification on its users before Zyphe. As the ecosystem grew toward its next milestone, a million users, KYC became a requirement it had to meet without changing what its users expect from a Web3 platform: control over their own data.

Supra found Zyphe through a referral from another Zyphe customer and at ETHDenver.

What did they deploy?

  • Zyphe KYC for every existing and new Supra user, from one integration.
  • Identity data encrypted and kept out of any single central database, at Supra or at Zyphe.
  • Reusable verified profiles, so a user who has verified once does not repeat the full check.

What changed?

  • Verification live on 21 August 2025, six weeks after the contract was signed on 10 July 2025.
  • KYC covering the whole user base, existing and new, at a scale of 500,000+ users at launch.

What this story does not claim: This story does not publish conversion rates, verification times or pass rates for the Supra deployment, and 500,000+ is the size of Supra's user base at launch, not a count of completed verifications.

“We’re excited to partner with Zyphe to bring decentralized, privacy-first identity verification to the Supra ecosystem. Zyphe allows us to meet regulatory compliance without sacrificing user experience or security. Their decentralized identity vaults keep PII off centralized databases, giving users more control over their data. It’s a foundational layer for the next generation of compliant Web3.”
